Website Leasing Agreement
What you receive
A professionally designed website, UK hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, security updates, technical maintenance and the content updates included in your plan.
Leasing model
Your subscription grants you the right to use the website that we design and build for you. Animus Labs retains ownership of the underlying design and technical setup. Your business content (text, photos, logo, brand assets) remains yours.
Domain names
You may use a domain you already own, or ask us to register one on your behalf. Domain ownership is separate from this agreement.
Term & cancellation
Rolling monthly subscription. Cancel with reasonable written notice as set out in your subscription agreement. On cancellation the website is taken offline and you may take your business content with you.
Transferring the website
If you want to buy out the design and take the website away, we can offer a one-off buy-out fee — talk to us.
Support
Support is available during UK business hours. Priority support is included in the Premium plan.
Fair use
Included content updates and support are subject to fair use — we won't nickel-and-dime you, but we may quote separately for large structural changes or specialist features (e-commerce, custom software, complex integrations).
